Onalaska Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) preschool provides comprehensive, individualized preschool education, health education, and family support to promote family engagement and school readiness. ECEAP is a state-funded, comprehensive, "whole child" preschool program for 3 and 4 year-olds.

ECEAP works in partnership with parents, the community, and state and federal agencies. Children are accepted into ECEAP based on their age, family income, and other developmental or environmental risk factors.

The program includes:

  • Preschool instruction [September – June]

    • Developmental screenings and referrals

    • Nutritious meals and snacks

    • Health and dental screenings

    • Home Visits

    • Parent Leadership Opportunities

    • Family Events

    • Kindergarten Readiness Activities

    • Transportation provided in some service areas

Morning sessions

8:15 AM – 11:15 AM, The morning session includes breakfast and a snack.

Afternoon sessions

12:15 PM – 3:15 PM, The afternoon program includes lunch and a snack.
